About Our Owner

Owner: Larry Janesky

Larry Janesky has spent his career in basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and related home service businesses. Starting in 1987, he has become a well-respected authority on moisture control, humidity, crawl space encapsulation (a term he coined), and home energy conservation. He is the owner of over 25 patented solutions. As founder of Basement Systems, Inc. and co-founder of Dr. Energy Saver, Inc., Total Basement Finishing Systems, Inc., and Supportworks, Inc., he has helped train and build networks of contractors across the United States and Canada. Larry provides guidance and directs the overall strategy for companies he owns or co-owns, training local leaders to oversee day-to-day operations and trusting teams to execute and deliver superior service to their customers. He is very proud of what Basement Systems USA can do for homeowners who have problems with their basements, crawl spaces, and foundations. Larry is an Eagle Scout, father of three, and desert motorcycle racer.
