Photo Album: Waterproofed Basement with Water Seepage in Newark, DE
Like many basements in Newark, DE this basement had seepage problems. We installed the WaterGuard drainage system to drain water out of the walls and from under the floor. We also installed a Super sump and the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier in their basement.
Cleanspace is 20 mil thick and fiber enforced. This means it will not get punctured on the rough walls. It also means that we can anchor it to the wall so that it won’t move around and get separated. A special high strength white tape is used to seal the seams to prevent any air bypass. CleanSpace is made with an antimicrobial coating so that it won’t grow mold on it and it comes with a 25 year guarantee against puncture holes.
SuperSumps comes with a WaterWatch Alarms and an sealed, airtight cover to prevent moisture from escaping into the basement.
