Customer was getting water into their crawl space and wanted the best solution to fix the problem. First we put down drainage matting on the floor, then topped that with our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system which puts a barrier between your house and the ground. Encapsulating your crawl space with CleanSpace helps control humidity, mold, odors, insects and other critters. It also helps to keep the floor above warmer and less drafty, which may cut down on heating and air conditioning costs. To finish the job, we installed a SmartDrain with an audible alarm to alert you in the event of a plumbing leak. The cover of the SmartDrain is designed so that any water entering your crawl space will be directed to the alarm pocket first so you will be alerted to the problem as early as possible. From there, the water will drain into a drywell under the CleanSpace, giving you time to fix the plumbing leak. Lastly, we installed a Sanidry Sedona, a small but extremely efficient perfect to control humidity in the crawl space.
