Photo Album: Chestertown MD Crawlspace Encapsulation and Basement Waterproofing

This was a two part job, the customer was in need of humidity control and encapsulation in the crawlspace, but was also in need of basement waterproofing. They reached out to the right company, we had the perfect solution for their basement and crawlspace needs.  First we start out in the crawlspace, we installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and a SaniDry Dehumidifier. CleanSpace is a bright durable vapor barrier that not only stops water vapor from spreading throughout but also drains the wall leaks. The SaniDry Dehumidifier we installed in the crawlspace is know as the " Pint-Sized Powerhouse". The SaniDry has a capacity of 100 pints per day and will move over 300 Cubic Feet of dry air per minute. Now on to the waterproofing of the basement. This part of the job included Brightwall, Waterguard and a SuperSump Pump. Brightwall is a paneling system that not only gives your basement a clean semi finished look, but while providing that clean, bright look, it is also stopping water vapor from permeating the walls and draining any leaks down to the Waterguard. The Waterguard is the drainage system that is installed around the perimeter of the basement that flows the water over to the SuperSump Pump to then be pumped out of the basement.
