The initial call into Basement Systems USA was for basement waterproofing, the complaint was water would get in to the basement every time it would rain and then it would just progress with every rainfall, more and more water was getting in. When we got out there to assess the water issue, it became apparent that there was a problem with the customers foundation. To correct these foundation issues we installed two push piers and seven, 8' Power Braces.
Push Piers are installed and locked under the homes foundation, allowing the weight from the foundation, to transfer from the unstable soil, to the stabilized piers. Power Braces are installed by anchoring to your basement floor and floor joist. The Power Brace is designed to be tightened over time and can potentially reverse the failing wall.

As you can see there were numerous cracks in this foundation, with these Power Braces in play it will stop the wall from moving forward and creating anymore cracks.
