This customer was noticing water intrusion and cracks throughout the block structure in this below grade garage, concerned with structural issues, they reached out to a structural engineer to assess. Once the structural engineer evaluated the foundation, he recommended that Basement Systems USA come out and install Carbon Armor straps and a drainage system. We sent our inspector Jeff Yentzer out to this property to see the structure in need of repair and to see how many Carbon Armor straps were needed and what type of drainage system would work best with the layout and foundation. Jeff provided an estimate for a Brush coat, which is a Cementitious Coating that protects the concrete from sulfate contaminated ground conditions,6 Carbon Armor Straps which are 10times stronger than steel, Waterguard around the perimeter of the garage, a Gravity Drain with Lawnscape and then our Brightwall panels.
Water Intrusion
This was the condition of the garage prior to basement systems arrival. You can see present water intrusion on both the floor and wall and then hairline cracks going both vertical and like stairs.

Structural Repair
Our Carbon Armor Straps are applied with High-strength epoxy resin that will absorb pressure from the wall, the straps themselves are made from fiber--reinforced polymer that is 10 times stronger than steel.
Complete System
Here is a full look at what was installed in the below grade garage, we have brush coated the block wall and ceiling, installed the Waterguard and placed the Brightwall panels overtop of the Carbon Armor straps. Only item not pictured it the gravity drain and lawnscape.
