Photo Album: Annapolis, MD Basement In Need of Basement Waterproofing

This Annapolis, MD homeowner reached out to Basement Systems with concerns of hairline cracks allowing water to enter into the unfinished basement. We sent our trained inspector, Chris Cooke, out to assess the concern and work up a free estimate for the best way to correct their ongoing issue with water intrusion. Basement Systems USA installed the WaterGuard Drainage System around the full perimeter of the basement. We also installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump on one side and our SuperSump on the other side of the basement, both with their own underground discharge lines, Lawnscape and IceGuards. Wellduct Window drains were installed below each basement window and tied into the waterguard. A SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed as well to keep humidity low in the humid months. To finish up the installation, we installed our ThermalDry Wall System and Beautiful to Basement Panels. Now this once, wet basement, is ready for finishing!

Super Sump with Battery Backup

On one side of the basement, we have installed our SuperSump with Battery backup.

WellDuct

Under each basement window, we installed our WellDuct drainage system that leads right into our Waterguard system. The water that enters into the duct will be directed over to the sump to be pumped out and away from the home.

Well Drains

The well drains installed are connected to the Wellducts inside the basement. When the well gets water, it will drain directly into the duct, which is tied into the Waterguard, and lead over to the sump pump.

Ice Guard

IceGuard is installed to stop the discharge line from freezing and having water back up into the basement.

SaniDry Sedona

To make sure humidity stays relatively low in the basement, we installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier. This dehumidifier also has a condensation line that is tied directly to the water guard system so there is no need to manually empty the dehumidifier.

Basement To Beautiful

These panels are made with our SilverGlo insulation which offers 24% more energy savings than conventional foam options.

Thermal Dry Wall System

This wall system is a vapor barrier that has a radiant shield that reflects up to 97% of the heat back into your basement. This barrier is tied into our Wateguard system so any water that may come in through the wall, will be directed right into the drainage system.
