A homeowner in Arnold, MD noticed wet puddle spots in their basement after heavy rainfall. This can be caused by the soil around the home's foundation getting saturated during periods of rainfall. This saturated soil causes hydrostatic pressure and pushes water and moisture into the basement. This can cause issues such as increased heating and cooling bills, smelly carpets, and mold! The homeowner contacted us, and our System Design Specialist, Jim, provided an inspection and suggested a waterproofing system. Our foreman Jeremy installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system will ensure water gets pumped away from the home and also has a backup battery that kicks in if the power goes out. We also installed the WaterGuard French Drain System, which sits on top of the foundation footing and will catch any water seepage from the floors and walls. Now, the homeowner has peace of mind knowing that their basement is protected!

Basement Before
Here is the basement before we waterproofed it.
Sump Pump Before
As you can see, an old sump pump like this cannot properly protect the basement since it's an open pit.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
TripleSafe provides three levels of protection against water intrusion and will effectively pump water out of the basement!
WaterGuard French Drain System
WaterGuard is installed on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone. This system will catch any water that seeps in through the walls and floors and drain it to the sump pump.
