Photo Album: Damp Basement Solution in Edgemoor, DE
This homeowner in Edgemoor, DE noticed water seepage in their basement, so they knew to contact us for a solution. This happens because the soil around the foundation is loose and becomes saturated during heavy rainfall. Our System Design Specialist, Chris, provided an inspection and suggested they waterproof the basement. Our foreman, Bernie, began by installing the CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier. This is a water and mold-resistant liner that provides insulation to the basement to keep it dry. Next, Bernie installed the WaterGuard Drain System which will collect water and drain it to the sump pump. We also installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System which will provide three levels of protection against water intrusion and also has a backup battery to kick in if the power goes out. Now, the homeowners' peace of mind can be restored knowing their basement will stay dry and healthy.

CleanSpace is a thick and durable liner that is mold-proof and waterproof. WaterGuard is installed on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone.
