Basement Finishing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing and Finishing in Baltimore MD
For this customer, water would come in through the basement walls, whenever it rained. The customer had a finished basement so when water would enter, it would start to soak in to and damage the basement Drywall.
This was a two step process for our company. Not only did the customer want to waterproof the basement, but also wanted to restore the damaged walls.
First step was the waterproofing, we came out and installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Waterguard and a Super Sump Pump. The CleanSpace will direct any water that enters in through the wall down to the waterguard which will then flow over to the Super Sump to be pumped out of the basement.
The second step was the restoration. For this portion of the project we installed our Everlast Wall Restoration System which is made out of mold resistant material, unlike drywall that is made mostly made up of paper and when it gets wet, it becomes vulnerable to the growth of mold.
