Basement Finishing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing and Finishing in Parkville MD
This was a finished basement that began to take on some water when it rained. Being a finished basement and having no waterproofing system in play, the walls began to get damaged. We came out and first did the waterproofing, that included and install of a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, WellDucts under the 3 windows, Waterguard and a SuperSump Pump. Once the waterproofing was done, we were then then ready to start the finishing portion.
For the finishing portion of this job we installed our 32" TBF Wall Restoration System. These panels are cement board covered with a mold proof, washable vinyl and work great for when the bottom portion of your basement wall gets water damage and you don't want to rip out the entire finished basement. These walls panels can be installed right over top of the cleans space and will not effect the waterproofing system in anyway.
