Basement Finishing Photo Album: Basement Finishing in Forest Hill, MD

This customer reached out to us to have his basement finished. He was looking to turn the space into a large family room and add a fourth bedroom. He also needed to convert one of the basement windows to an egress window. We started this job by installing the UltraSump 4 Battery Back-up System to give the sump pump some added protection in case of a power outage. Next, we installed a WellDuct Window Well Drainage System for the egress window by connecting the WellDuct to the interior drain footing. Then we hand dug and cut through the poured wall to install a Rockwell Egress Window System measuring 48" - 60". Next, we installed our TBF Finished EverLast Walls and Partition Panels over the existing framing, along with a dropped ceiling with recessed can lighting. Lastly, we installed our Elite Plank Flooring in Light Pecan.

Sump System Upgrade

We upgraded this sump pump system by installing a battery back-up pump.

WellDuct System

The WellDuct transports water directly from window well to the interior drainage system.

Egress Window

Building codes require an egress window well if you are using a portion of the basement as a bedroom or other living space.

TBF Everlast Wall Panels

Our Everlast Wall Panels come with 2 1/2" of Silver-Glo high-density foam insulation, a 1/2" of hard cement board, and a decorative vinyl covering.
