Basement Finishing Photo Album: Basement Transformation in Ellicott City, MD

Homeowner in Ellicott City, MD reached out to us for help transforming her unfinished basement into a fully finished, useable space.  We sent our certified system design specialist, Tim Schlegel, out to this property to work with the homeowner on some design ideas to transform cold "you're not going to want to stay down here long" basement, into a warm bright "come right in, stay for a while" basement.  The product that helped us get to where this basement is today would be none other than our ZenWall, TBF Everlast Wall Panels, Elite Plank- Grey flooring and a Complete Linen Drop Ceiling. Not only did we install flooring and a wall system, but we also upgraded the current windows with our EverLast windows and installed an Egress window with a Rockwell and well cover, which will add a lot of natural lighting in the basement. Listed above are the large items that were installed in this basement, but finishing isn't just throwing up some walls and putting down some floors and calling it a day, it is the little details that bring everything together. In the Drop Ceiling, we installed  canned recess lighting, we added 4, 6panel hollow core doors, we added in base board heating, 13 electrical outlets/ swtiches as well as 2 new access panels and even a decorative post for one of the basement columns. Everything added together equals a nice, bright, welcoming entertainment area for guest to hang out.
