This basement had a french drain that was not able to keep up with the amount of water that came in during a heavy rain. We removed the moldy drywall at the bottom of the wall and installed the WaterGuard system which can more than handle the water volume. We also installed a TripleSafe sump system with a battery back-up pump that will run in case of power failure. The WaterGuard had to be installed around an existing concrete hearth, but that was no problem for our experienced installers.
