Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: SentrySeal in Newark, DE
In this split level home the foundation wall was taking water on the inside due to cracks in the foundation and needed to properly seal it from the outside. We excavated the exterior wall down to the base of the foundation in order for us to install our SentrySeal membrane which will keep water from going into the property. Once the membrane is sealed we backfilled the area and placed drainage line that will carry any water away from the home, keeping the area safe from water intrusion.
Excavation of area
Here we excavated the area all the way down to the foundation of the home. You can see the damage of what the water has done.
SentrySeal
We installed our SentrySeal membrane that will keep the foundation protected and no more water will seep its way in.
Backfill
Lastly we backfilled the area of the home where we removed the dirt to install the membrane. Then we placed a drainage pipe away from the home so any water will be channeled away.
