Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: FlexiSpan and WaterGuard Rainage System Install in Elkton, MD
This Elkton, MD homeowner believed water was getting into the basement when it rained. through the Bilco Doors. After sending our inspector, Tim Schlegel, out to examine the basement, it was determined that not only was some water entering around the Bilco, but there was also a hairline crack in the poured foundation ( same area as Bilco) that water was leaking through as well.
To correct this issue, Basement Systems repaired the crack with our FlexiSpan System and tied this directly into the WaterGuard Drainage System, which we installed at the basement entry point. The Waterguard is tied directly in to the customers current sump pump so any water that makes it way through the wall or under the door, will flow through our system and be pumped right out and away from the home.
FlexiSpan
Flexispan is flexible and will move with the wall, (as the foundation moves) and will eliminate re-cracking and seepage.
Waterguard Install
Here we have installed the Waterguard at the door of the basement. You can see that an area has been cut for the tie in to the current sump pump.
Tie In
Here we tied in our Waterguard System with the customers current sump pump. Any water that leaks into the basement is now caught by the Waterguard, directed right over to the sump, and then will be discharged away from the home.
Completed Install
Once the waterproofing system is in play, it is then covered up not causing any eye sores, or taking up any unnecessary space in the basement.
