At this Glenolden, PA residence, the damp unfinished basement was collecting water in areas when it would rain heavy. The team dug a trench around the foundation of the walls in order to install our WaterGuard Drainage System that will capture any water intruding into the home. Then we placed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls, which effectively captures moisture and carries it down into the WaterGuard Drainage System. WaterGuard will then travel the excess water safely to the sump pump system.

Water Intrusion

Here is the concern the customer had, prior to reaching out to Basement Systems USA. It can clearly be seen that water was seeping in through the foundation wall and with no where for it to go other than the floor, that is where it would sit until it would eventually evaporate or be cleaned up by the homeowner. When left unattended for too long, mold will start to grow and become a hazard to your health.

Waterproofing System

Here we have installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to capture any water that may intrude through the foundation wall. The CleanSpace is tied into our Waterguard Drainage System that will collect the water the CleanSpace directs down to it and flow it over to the sump pump to be pumped out and away from the homes foundation.

SuperSump Pump

Our SuperSump pump is equipped with a 1/3hp cast iron, Zoeller pump which is capable of pumping 2200 gallons of water per hour.

Waterproofing

Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is tied to our Waterguard sub-floor drainage system, and feed line going to the other side of the basement.
