Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Timonium MD Crawlspace Repair

This crawlspace floor was covered with a thin plastic and then gravel thrown on top of it. The thin plastic cover was meant to act as a vapor barrier, but wast not doing its job. Moisture was collecting in the crawlspace, mold was growing on the joist and insulation was falling down. This crawlspace needed a good bit of work done, we came out and ripped out the old insulation and pulled up the plasic that was covering the floor, we then did a full mold remediation, installed Drainage Matting with a CleanSpace Vapor barrier,Smart Pipe, SmartSump with Floor Alarm and a SaniDry Dehumidifier. We also had to install 6 SmartJacks and 4 Smart Jack Supplemental Beams.

This sump has a Zoeller 1/3HP cast iron pump with automatic float switch. The lid and sump liner are designed to accept the CleanSpace System, for an airtight seal.

Due to some of the rot in the beams, we installed our supplemental beams along with our smart jack system. The Smart jacks are adjustable galvanized steel piers which are designed to stop settling and even raise your floors back up to their starting position.
