Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation in Earleville MD
This Earleville MD customer reached out to Basement Systems USA in need of humidity and moisture control in his crawlspace. When humidity and moisture are left untouched it can create mold, floors above the crawlspace can start to warp or slope and the structure below can begin to rot. With that being said, this customer wanted to tackle the humidity ASAP. We came out and installed our SilverGlo Insulation, a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier with Drainage Matting, Smart Drain, SaniDry Dehumidifier, vent covers and 2 Crawlspace Doors.
This customer now has a clean, dry, useable crawlspace that he can stay worry free knowing that no moisture will be entering the crawlspace, no mold will be growing and now the area above will be draft free in those cold winter months.
Original Crawlspace
Customer originally had a piece of plastic laid over top of the dirt floor, this plastic did not work as a vapor barrier and would allow moisture to enter the crawlspace.
Smart Drain
The SmartDrain is not a Sump Pump, but it comes with a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if a pipe has burst or is leaking and allowing water to get into the crawlspace.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Here is our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier not only covering the floor but we also wrapped the piers in the crawlspace as well.
