Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation in Charlestown MD

Current customer of ours where we just replaced a center beam that was damaged due to a lot of moisture entering the crawlspace, with no way out. Once we completed the replacement of the beam, we were asked to come back out to now take care of the moisture problem. This waterproofing project consisted of a CleanSpace vapor barrier, SmartPipe, SmartSump with Floor Alarm, IceGuard, SaniDry Dehumidifier, 4 vent covers and a Crawlspace door.

This is the original crawlspace with a gravel floor and as you can see water being collected in a bucket to be emptied out manually.

SmartSump

Our SmartSump comes equipped with a WaterWatch Alarm System that will sound if there are any leaks or failure of the sump

SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier

Our sedona is a perfect fit for crawlspaces, though on the smaller side, this dehumidifier keeps humidity below 55% and can remove 100 pints of moisture, per day. This dehumidifier also drains automatically and has a humidity sensor that monitors the air in the crawlspace.
