Egress Photo Album: West Chester PA Egress Installation

This West Chester homeowner was in the market for an egress window in his unfinished basement. The homeowner had a few standard size windows, but wanted to add a larger window, to brighten up the area.  Since the homeowner did not want to make any adjustment to sizes with his current windows, this called for us to have to cut through the poured foundation to create a new frame. Excavation completed, foundation cut through, new frame in place, we then get to install the 48x48 Large Slider Egress window along with the Rockwell and Rockwell cover. Once the Rockwell is secured and in place, we then return the soil we dug out and place it tightly and neatly around the rockwell.  For added protection against water, we installed a WellDuct window well drainage system that will tie directly into the current perimeter drain. Now if water gets into the window well, it will safely drain via the wellduct and get pumped out and away from the home.
