This basement had old dark paneling from the 70's. There was also a foundation water seepage problem and damp smell.
First we dried the space. We installed 102 feet of Waterguard to keep the basement dry. We also installed a SuperSump with UltraSump battery back up. Then we finished the basement with TBF Everlast wall. After installing a drop ceiling, we installed Thermal Tile subflooring that is designed to insulate the floor and protect the carpet. The floor surface Temperature will now be up to 7 degrees warmer. It also prevent carpet dry rot which comes from vapor transmission through the concrete floor. This job is ready for carpet.

This block wall wa sin trouble. Preasure from the soil and water pushed the wall inwards causing it to bow. The best solution in this case was to install GeoLock wall anchors. These anchors are guaranteed for a period of 25 years against failure, insuring that the wall will not fail. The exavation outside was cleaned up perfectly and you can hardly see we where there.
The basement in this church had a monolithic foundations. Monolothic foundation are different then standard foundations because the floor is poured as part of the footer and the foundation walls are placed on top of the floor. This means that we cannot cut the floor to install the traditional sub-floor drainage system to waterproof the basement.
After we removed the walls, toilet, and sink, we installed the DryTrak cove channel system that drains water away without cutting the floor. The bathroom is waterproofed and ready to be put back together.
