A customer had a nasty problem with their wet and moldy basement. We fixed the problem with our successful Spot Mold Treatment, removing all mold from the space. We then went further by installing the state of the art WaterGuard XL waterproofing system which captures water that leaks through the walls and floors of their home. Now, the customer has a dry, clean space with no worries of damp or moldy odors.
When a homeowner needed a higher quality basement, we were there to help. After eliminating the mold in the basement, we installed our reliable Everlast basement windows and Rockwell window well to keep moisture and soil out. We installed our Wellduct and ThermalDry wall systems to prevent water damage by catching and sending any water to the drainage system. The SaniDry dehumidifier will also control the humidity and air quality in the basement so that there is no risk of moisture, mold or odors. The homeowner is now happy with a basement that can be used.
Before we finished this basement we had to deal with some problems first. This basement had several crawlspaces that that had moisture and no insulation. We installed CleanSpace barrier on the floor of the crawlspace to prevent vapor transmission. We also insulated the walls and rim-joist of the crawlspaces but not with fiberglass insulation because that attracts mold and becomes ineffective over time as it absorbs moisture. Instead we used Silverglow foam board. We also installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier to keep the humidity at an acceptable low level.
Then we used our TBF Everlast wall panel system to finish the basement and it came out great. Not only does it look good, it comes with a 50-year guarantee against water damage and mold growth. We also fixed the stairs and installed Thermal flooring that makes the basement floor look good and creates a warmer floor surface. The basement looked great and is now ready to use.
This job in Bel Air, MD needed an egress window for their finished basement. The job required removal of bushes and drywall, but everything went smoothly. The beautiful RockWell window well looks amazing and much better than the standard metal contractor grade wells that always rust and leak. We also installed a drain in the bottom of the window well to prevent flooding. The basement is now bright, but more importantly, safe!
This basement had field stone walls that were leaking everywhere. Excavation and sealing from the outside was not an option, so an interior drainage system called WaterGuard was installed with a SuperSump system. We also installed the CleanSpace vapour barrier on the walls so that the moisture could be controlled and drain down into the WaterGuard system. The result is a bone dry basement with a nationally backed, transferable warranty from Basement Systems USA Inc.
We we first saw the foundation walls of this home in Joppa, MD, we were immidiatly concerned. The walls had a long horizontal crack in the middle and was bowing inward over 2". There was also some shifting going on at the bottom. In addition to the foundation wall failure, there was also a serios water seepaage problems and lots of mold on th eold insulation behind the paneling.
We started with removing the paneling and the moldy insulation. Then we installed 14 GeoLock wall anchors with full interior plates to stabilize the foundation wall. Next was the waterproofing system. We installed WaterGuard along the interior wall to guarantee that there woul dno longer be seepage. We also upgraded the sump pump with a SuperSump system. The ThermalWall vapour was also installed to prevent moisture from escaping into the basement.
The customer also wanted the paneling to be replaced, a new electric heater installed, and the drop ceiling repaired. It was a big job but the foundaton is repaired and we no longer have water and mold issues.
This home had many problems. The walls were bowing and needed reinforcing and the joist where sagging. In addition, the stairwell was flooding over into the basement.
First we installed GeoLock Wall Anchors to stabilized the foundation wall. Then we installed SmartJacks to reinforce the joists. Both products are made of galvanized steel so the will not rust or corrode. They include a 25-year nationally backed, transferable, guarantee against failure.
We also broke out the stairwell pad and installed a TrenchDrain System with a new concrete pad to prevent flooding.
This basement was particularly finished and had a water seepage problem. The carpet and bottom of the drywall got wet and had to be removed.
We then cut the floor and installed the WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter walls. WaterGuard is a patented system that has been installed all over the country and comes with a nationally backed, life time warranty. The WaterGuard was connected to a TripleSafe Sump Systems that has the capacity to pump up to 6000 gallons per hour on AC power and can pump up to 12,000 gallons of water in one charge.
After the waterproofing was completed, we also installed the SaniDry super dehumidifier, which is 7 to 10 times more powerful then your average store bought dehumidifier.
The results is that the basement is protected from water seepage and high humidity.

Local building codes mandate that basement bedrooms must have an egress window to ensure safety and compliance. Then, we installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump, equipped to handle high volumes of water and operate even during power outages, ensuring the homeowners have peace of mind. Lastly, to tackle the dampness and create a healthier environment, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed, completing our comprehensive approach to basement waterproofing.
This homeowner reached out to our team with concerns of dampness in their crawl space, as well as evidence of water seepage in the unfinished portion of their finished basement. To ensure the safety and security of those living in the home, our crew encapsulated the crawl space with our effective CleanSpace vapor barrier system, and implemented our Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to rid the area of moisture, mold spores, and any unpleasant odors. We recently had the privilege of assisting a homeowner in Jarrettsville, MD, who was struggling with a common yet frustrating problem: leaking basement windows. Set against the backdrop of a home with a solid brick foundation, this issue presented not just an inconvenience, but a threat to the integrity of their living space. Concerned about potential wall restoration costs and eager for a lasting solution, they reached out to us at Basement Systems. Our customer care team quickly set up an appointment, and soon after, our System Design Specialist was on the scene. After a thorough inspection, it became clear that the solution would require more than just a fix for the leaky windows; it called for an overhaul of their basement waterproofing system. We proposed to install two of our most trusted products: the WaterGuard basement waterproofing system and the TripleSafe Sump Pump. These systems were designed to work together to ensure a dry basement, redirecting water away from the home and pumping it out before it can cause further issues. And just like that, we got to work. Our skilled production team skillfully replaced the old, leaky basement windows, ensuring a tight, water-resistant seal against the elements. The WaterGuard system was installed at the foundation's perimeter to catch any incoming water, while the TripleSafe Sump Pump stood ready to discharge it safely away from the home.
