This customer had a finished basement and was trying to use it for extra living space, before it could be considered livable space, they needed to add an egress window and that is where we came in.
We came out and first dug out and cut through their poured foundation to prepare for the egress, we then installed a 48 x 48 Slider Egress Window with an Egress Premier RockWell and RockWell Cover. We also installed a Well Duct drain and connected it to their current waterproofing system.
Customer had an unfinished basement that she was looking to fully finish in the near future. Her first step for the finishing project was to install an Egress window. The customer had several basement windows, but if there were ever an emergency and a fast escape through the basement was needed, there was no where to go. This is where we came in, we came out and installed a 48 x 48 Slider Egress window with a RockWell which has a stone look and is UV Stable, rust and rot proof and can stand up to extreme temperatures.
We did several projects in this customers basement, from Radon mitigation, to waterproofing and to this project of Egress Window installs.
For the Egress installs we used 60 x 48 Slider Egress Windows with Egress Rockwells and cover, and then we also replaced an old basement window with a larger, 30 x 30 Everlast Window.
This homeowner in Wilmington reached out to us for a window well upgrade. Their current well and cover was rusted and cracked. Here we installed an Everlast Window Insert along with our Sunhouse Window Well Enclosure and Cover. This reinforced vinyl enclosure helps to allow more light in to brighten up the space. It's also virtually indestructible, maintenance-free, and will never rust, rot or require painting.
This was a previous customer of ours, we had just finished up with waterproofing their basement and they asked us to finish it as well. Included in that finish the customer requested an Egress window install as an emergency exit.
We installed a 27 x 45 In-Swing Egress with a metal well and plastic cover. Not only will this new egress add a safe exit in case of an emergency but will also add a lot of natural lighting in the basement.
