We recommended our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring, which is made of completely inorganic materials and is impervious to water or mold damage. These planks also serve to insulate the space and can help keep basements up to 10 degrees warmer. This beautiful flooring featured here in the color "Walnut" will last for many years to come.
Water was seeping through the floor of this basement in Newark, DE. The homeowner contacted us for an estimate. We knew the WaterGuard French Drain and TripleSafe Sump Pump would be the best solution for this size basement. WaterGuard will collect and direct water coming in through the foundation walls and up from the floor. The water will be directed straight to the TripleSafe Sump pump to remove the water keeping the space dry and healthy. With the help of our System Design Specialist Gary, and our foreman Sean, the homeowner's peace of mind was restored.
This basement had several problems. The foundation wall was starting to bow inward, so we installed CarbonArmor Straps to reinforce the wall and prevent it from continuing to bow. We also installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump along with the WaterGuard Drainage System to take care of the water that was entering the basement. To finish the job, we installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls. CleanSpace works in conjunction with WaterGuard and keeps water from entering the basement by catching any moisture that may come through the walls and directing it into the WaterGuard system where it will either evaporate or drain away into the sump.
CleanSpace has the added bonus of brightening up your basement. It’s a fast and economical way to cover ugly basement walls. CleanSpace Wall is washable, durable and can conform to bumpy walls and it is installed using permanent drilled-in fasteners, so it stays put for a neat, clean appearance.
This customer had a monolithic foundation which prevented us from cutting the floor near the foundation wall to install a traditional sub-floor waterproofing system. So we installed a DryTrak cove channel system with a TripleSafe Sump System. We also installed a sub-floor drainage system towards the middle of the floor to deal with hydrostatic pressure.
This customer had a semi finished basement, they were not yet ready to fully finish the basement, but wanted to some how cover up the bare concrete walls, just make it look more clean and presentable. We had the perfect product for this, it is called Basement to Beautiful. Basement to Beautiful wall panels foam panels( made from our Silver glo Foam insulation) that feature metals studs and have a clear vapor barrier so they can never grow mold or rot like convential insulation and wood studs. The Basement to Beautiful panel is not a finished panel but can easily pair up and have one of our Everlast Wall Panels installed over it.
