Customer wanted to encapsulate the crawlspace due to fear of Mold and Wood Rot .
We installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, SilverGlow and Rim Joist Spray foam insulation and a SaniDry Dehumidifier
We brought a transformation to a Timonium, MD home with our tried-and-true crawl space repair methods. Initially, the homeowner faced a troublesome and uninsulated dirt-floor crawlspace, seeking insulation and protection. Through our expertise, we installed CleanSpace and SilverGlo insulation; products revered for creating a clean, energy-efficient space beneath homes.
For this crawlspace job, we did a Mold X 2 Treatment. Mold X2 is a highly effective cleaner for contaminated surfaces suchs as wood and masonry. While Mold X2 treatments eliminate mold, it does not prevent it from growing back unless the moisture is controlled. With that being said, we had to control the moisture in the crawlspace by installing a CleanSpace Vapor barrier and Drainage Matting, which the matting not only creates a drainage space under the Cleanspace, but also acts as a thermal break, giving some insulation value. And then to keep the crawlspace insulated, we installed SilverGlo which features a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into your crawlspace.
This homeowner was in dire need of help with his damp, moldy crawlspace. He called us for assistance and we transformed this space for him. We started with regrading to direct water seepage towards the sump pump. Next we took care of a mold issue using our Mold-X2 Cleaner and Botanical. Then we installed SilverGlo insulated wall panels along with our CleanSpace liner and drainage matting for a total crawlspace encapsulation system. The CleanSpace system acts as an effective moisture and vapor barrier while providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance.
